With the close of the American Academy of Ozone Therapies annual conference Sunday in Denver, Dr. Harper & I are giving up our gypsy ways and trading our wings for water sports on the lake for the summer.
Dr. Harper spoke on Thursday afternoon to about 150 attendees in Denver at the lovely Interlocken Hotel which is a favorite location for the AAO. It is possible that I may be slightly biased, however in my opinion this was by far the most impactful and well received presentation he has given! “The Cost of Pain” was the topic & Dr. Harper challenged the assembly to take a hard look at the treatments they are doing, the results they are getting and if they feel that they are actually best serving the needs of their patients. He also challenged them to reconnect with their patients by actually touching them during the exam. He spoke about how traditional practitioners have lost the art of physical medicine and too often resort to pills and symptom treatment rather than doing a thorough physical exam.
Our next clinic class is scheduled for Tuesday June 21st. at 6:00pm here in the clinic. Dr. Harper will be sharing highlights from speakers at the AAO who had noteworthy information to share. Among those were Dr. Joe Mercola, Dr. David Minkoff, as well as information on various Sauna systems and what they have to offer in terms of benefits.
Beginning this month Dr. Harper will see patients Monday- Wednesday 9:00-5:00pm and Thursdays 9:00-4:00pm. Beginning in July we will cut off at 3:30pm on Thursdays.
We are excited to announce that Integrity Painting have us on their list and the clinic will be getting a fresh coat of paint in about mid-July! Bear Harvey is just now finishing the back of the shed, so it is all ready to paint as well!
