We had our staff Christmas Party on Saturday the 10th. The weather cooperated wonderfully and held off on the snow (which was much appreciated by all.) Dr. Harper out did himself on the holiday menu! We had Prime Rib, Mashed Sweet Potatoes, Gravy, Homemade Spaghetti Sauce (from his Mothers Family Recipe) Fresh Spaghetti Squash (keeping it on the healthy side) and fresh Raspberry, Strawberry Cobbler for desert! I made the Garlic Cheese Bread to go with the Spaghetti , and back by popular demand again this year was Dr. Harpers Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. We spent a warm, wonderful time enjoying each other’s company and sharing a great meal! Dr. Harper opened the meal with a Prayer of Thanksgiving for our great Staff for our ability to provide care to our patients and for the gift of being able to share it together. Dr. Morris was a bit under the weather and didn’t attend, but he did order a plate to go (lol) and stopped up to get it! Dennis cooking is not something you want to miss out on!
Monday saw us back to work with full stomachs, and thankful hearts. I went to Lewiston to pick up Dr. Mitch Sill a colleague, who will be filling in for Dr. Harper while we are gone in January. He will be treating our Chiropractic Patients while Dr. Harper is away. He will see patients during regular office hours Monday-Thursday from January 10th– the 28th. Dr. Sill has been in private practice for 41 years. “ During this time, I have had the opportunity to attend individuals with sports injuries and spinal ailments. The last 10 years, my practice was moved to part time as I became a Professor of Clinical Sciences at Life Chiropractic College West. I enjoy treating patients that want to take an active role in their care. ”Please help us make Dr. Sill feel welcome here while we are away.
Our Holiday schedule will be as follows: Regular clinic hours will be observed Christmas week, We will be closed Monday the 26th. Open Tuesday thru Thursday the 27th-29th. We will open again on Monday January 3rd and Dr. Harper will see patients through noon on Friday the 7th. Dr. Sill will be here on Monday the 10th of January until we return on Monday the 31st.
