Aspire Scan ResultsBy Shirley Harper
It was another busy week here in the office, followed by a busy weekend training Jakob Schmidt ND from Lake Oswego, Oregon.
We are excited that people are coming in to take advantage of our new In Body Scanner. And there is a lot of excitement about our new ASPIRE Program. I want to let everyone know that whether you are interested in the Aspire program or not, you are welcome to come in and get a scan done. There is NO charge to do that. Get you scan so you are armed with information to make good healthy decisions and set realistic goals for yourself. A diet is a diet, is a diet, and anyone who has ever tried to lose weight will tell you, most diets work for a while, until they don’t or until you can no longer follow the restrictions.
Generally, after every failed diet attempt, we gain back all of what we lost and maybe a bit more besides, and if that isn’t bad enough, each diet likely causes us (especially women) to lose muscle mass as well. So now we have less of what burns fat, and more fat as we enter the next diet craze.
At Gem State Holistic Health, we want everyone to be as healthy as possible. And the only way to do that is with proper information. The In Body Scanner shows you exactly what your body makeup is. If you choose to download the FREE app. for your phone you will have all that information at your fingertips along with suggestions about what you need to do to improve your health. To build muscle, lose fat or both!
No appointment is necessary for the scan, the girls will be happy to assist you as quickly as they can. It is recommended that you come with an empty stomach, you will be asked to remove shoes and socks for the scan. Try to wear lighter clothing for the most accurate weight measure. The most important thing is GET THE SCAN, THEN MAKE A PLAN, and JUST DO IT!
At 6:00pm on Tuesday March 21st our monthly Clinic class will feature Guest Speaker Dawn Ring who will talk to us about the importance of Macro Nutrients to a healthy lifestyle! Protein, healthy carbs, good fats etc. and how they are the absolute foundation of building and maintaining a healthy lifestyle!
A brief update on my progress. I am up 4.6 lbs of skeletal muscle and lost 3.3 lbs of fat! That is in 30 days, I started doing some simple exercises at home, squats, pushups against the counter top (no way could I have done them from the floor) lol and then the last 2 weeks I got back into the gym! It is very encouraging to see that small changes do have positive impacts!
We hope to see you all there!
