The last weekend of February saw Dr Harper & I headed to southern Idaho to train a new group of Naturopathic doctors in Idaho. These men have been Chiropractic Physicians in Idaho for many years. It has only been since last July with the passing of the Naturopathic bill in the State. This bill restored rights that were lost to them over the years through subtle changes in language, and definitions in some laws, rules and across different boards. Dr. Harper and his colleagues have been fighting for the restoration of their full scope of practice ever since.

February 28^th & March 1^st saw the first official training session of our Naturopathic Physicians of Idaho. Dr. Ed Perkins hosted the event at his office in Homedale, Idaho.

In attendance were Dr. Dennis Harper, the event coordinator and instructor, Dr Ed Perkins, Dr. Jason West, Dr. Jim Kranz, Dr Jim Wear, Dr Shawn Rudkin, Dr Jim Hollingsworth, Dr Larry Nelson and Dr Nick Grable.

Dr Harper & I arrived ready to teach the group safe, easy and highly effective injection techniques and introduce them to some of the products we use to meet and exceed these standards each and every day in our own offices, and that we routinely bring to practitioners on a national level.

What we got was a wonderful weekend of shared collaboration of knowledge, and experience that was unparalleled with any teaching experience we’ve had in the many years we have been doing this! We were able to share what we do and see a variety of treatment tips and tricks from a vast wealth of practical experience!

We were treated to the “Cream of the Crop” of Idaho Naturopathic Physicians! These learned gentlemen excel at what they do. Their intimate knowledge of the human body is unsurpassed by any practitioner I have ever trained. That knowledge makes them particularly well suited to take up the mantle of Naturopathic Physician, and truly provide healing to the people of Idaho, who will benefit greatly from the creation of the NPAI Board.
